Turn not away or ignore the harsh criticism - it helps you to grow and develop.
Criticism is very common to all the wrong ways. It is natural to be defensive, but it is dangerous to always get away, because you miss out on learning.
Always listen
Given that the vast majority get away from criticism, listen to a competitive advantage - even if you listen to what is cruel.
If you are one of the few that actually listen, you are developing rapidly.
Responses to criticism often similar. Many people begin to understand themselves, usually to blame themselves whatever they can prevent. And this is a very common defense mechanism to attack back.
Do not cry
Another common response is to cry, which may be a growing situation.
- Men often taught not to cry. Instead, they go with "Well, I do not care about" or "Well, I'm completely useless." But it has the same effect, and usually only make the situation worse for the work.
And our response follow their own way - the key is to listen.
- Resist the urge to talk back. Maybe one of you ask the question "How do you mean?" Can.
Ask for a meeting
And put an end to any defect that you can start putting yourself - then what do you think about that there is to learn from criticism.
- It's dangerous, it does not help you. Even if you think it was unfair, ask yourself what you can learn from criticism. And then drop it. Save your energy.
In some cases, for example if it is work related, it's critical for the manager or the person you may be appropriate to go back.
